Surface Designer with Texture
ABOUT AMARTI
While hand-crafted art and digital art are often persived as opposites, Amarti studio recognizes that the integration of both techniques can offer incredible opportunities. By combining the traditional hand-crafting approach with the limitless possibilities of digital technology, we aim to expand the boundaries of artistic expression and bring new possibilities to the art world. We believe that embracing both methods can foster a sense of balance and fulfillment, both for the artist and the audience.
Amarti creates and produces bespoke fine art, art prints, and patterns for surface design with a unique aesthetic. We are in search of a visual and tactile sensory experience, giving colour the main role and experimenting with unusual art materials like plasticine and sand. Our love for interior decoration makes us and excellent option for your hospitality, commercial and interior decoration project!
PLASTICINE ART & SAND ART
Using only coloured moulding clay, (plasticine) on transparent acrylic, in Amarti studio we are able to recreate textures, such as feathers and flower petals. We skilfully create beautiful artworks that explore rhythm and colour and then digitally modifies them to create an array of patterns and prints, in a way never seen before.
Amarti’s plasticine art is like a mixture of painting and sculpting, but not exactly either. The use of modelling clay rather than paint provides boundaries and shadows, alluding to movement with smooth, definitive grace. By painting with modelling clay, Amarti is engaging in a simple and unique way to construct images.
Sand art is also a beautiful way of imprinting colour and shapes, giving a velvety finish to a painting. It looks like pointillism but more subtle and delicate, and it adds some multidimensional elegant finish. There is something calming and sensual about painting with sand that remain in the paintings and patterns themselves. Sand art provides another visual texture that evoke a tactile nostalgia.
